THE
DANCE
DEPARTMENT

What We Teach:
Dance is a new subject that has been introduced at St Paul's Way Community School in Year 10, in order to further develop the arts and to provide students with the opportunity to express their talents in dance and movement at GCSE level.

The curriculum followed offers students varied opportunities to study dance in its many and varied forms from classical dance to contemporary dance as it is expressed throughout different cultures. Students will also have opportunities to perform dances that they have learned.

At the moment, Dance is only taught to girls but the School intends to offer boys the same opportunity in the future.

Staffing:
Arileia Ormeρo
